Elim Junior Academy (EJA) was founded in 1931 and located at 2101 Ninth Avenue, South. The school thrived for over 33 years until 1964 when it was demolished by fire.

A new property was purchased in 1976 at 8016 Avenue, South as the school opened its doors again. We are now located at 4824 Second Avenue, South and continue to provide quality education for students, Kindergarten to Grade 8, in the St. Petersburg community.

It is the mission of EJA to deliver God-centered, Results-oriented, Environmentally safe and nurturing education, Aligned with Adventist, National and State Standards and Team effort (G.R.E.A.T.). It is our desire to propel our students to excel academically, spiritually, physically, and socially.

EJA is one of the 15-member schools of the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist School District in Florida. It is fully accredited by the Association of Seventh-day Adventists Accreditation Division, the National Council for Private Schools Accreditation, and meets the necessary requirements of the State of Florida Department of Education.

Sustaining Academic, Spiritual and Social Excellence,
